Meh, I wouldn't spec your turret with ammo regen. I have a class mod that I bought, and it give s +8 (!!!) ammo regen to the WHOLE TEAM.
That being said, the turret can be extremely effective as both a healing platform and a extra damage platform. Mine does (depending on the enemy) 200+ to 30- damage a shot, and it make heals you. It also is hard to kill, and it can revine you.
Haven't really tried out the other classes much, but the turret is pretty good once you get passed lvl 27 or so and are in a co-op game.

Yeah I just got one of those class mods... or well two actually after Ewok traded me for a slightly better one. +7 to various damage increasing abilities and +7 ammo regen for the team.

At level 36 I tried Bloodwing and found it to be immensely boring. With a level 3 artifact and fully specced it would one shot everything it touched aside from badasses. Specced like that all you do is see enemies, hit f and pick up loot. Its fucking boring. Also, I've never had my bird die to enemy fire once.

not true...I'm a sniper and I hardly ever use the damned bird....I only ever use him when I need a distraction.

My sniper rounds completely ignore shields 100%, boosted overall damage, are incredibly accurate, and boosted crit damage by alot....

I can drop most anybody with one headshot, and on badasses, the HS will take them down to only a sliver of health.

Only trouble I've had is with the crimson lance...those guys are fucking HARDASSES!

Yeah, on my second playthrough I have my Soldier specced to be good in everything. I have a gun that gives me +16 ammo regen, and a class mod that gives +13 (Both Orange or Purple). On Scags with a lvl 4 fire artifact, the turret does 2600 damage A SHOT. I have Barrage to 5, so it fires about 7 shots. And it doesn't even have turret damage maxed!
The turret is probably the most useful in a 2-3 player co-op, because it gives a big amount of health Regen when deployed. I don't need to give people ammo, I'm already too badass for needing ammo.

I swear to god...I jumped out of my car at firestone to go to the shop and there were bandits behind me. They kept shooting at me even though my car was in front of them, taking all the shots. Then it explodes and kills them, and I notice some random 500xp pop up in my hud.....wtf

Btw, phasewalk and berserk are awesome, I hate playing Hunter though. There is NO stealth at all in this game.

gonna change my vote to the Scorpio turrent. That thing is a life saver. I don't have it heal people near it (since I have the same effect from the end skill in medic tree, and its whenever I kill someone) but it does have a 70% chance to revive someone, and that rules. Upgraded with more damage, and more shots per burst, and with a level 3 corrosive artifact, (and half the cool down time to boot) it chews through enemies. TURRENT IS CREDIT TO TEAM.
