Borderlands Issues

Ok, so I have two main problem when I play BL.

1) When in a game with someone else one of these will happen.

a) when we load a new location I will disconnect. IDK why.

b) I will 'black screen', I assume my video drivers stop working and everything else keeps running.

The first is most likely the games obvious problems with the port connections that need to be fixed, the second try updating your graphics drivers.

Check local cache files? or w/e its called?

I've had all kinds of blackscreen issues too, rukkil. No clue what the answer is yet. i've tried everything and now just run the game in windowed mode on crappy resolution. i think it's a video issue in the game, but who knows. I hope that a patch comes out to fix this, and the multiplayer issues also

Mine blackscreens every time I enter rust commons now or play for longer than about 45 minutes.

Simple answer: console port

They'll get around to fixing these issues eventually, but making a game mainly for console then porting it over is likely to cause issues like that. One of the reasons why I'm glad I may be waiting till Christmas to get this on the pc, game pad is ok but I miss Texas Team Players.
