    reinstalling

    So when I installed Windows 7, I had to reinstall Borderlands. Which, I guess, lost all my progress. Or am I missing something here?

    From what I've read, the data is stored on your local machine and not a server so if you did not back up the data and this was a fresh install of W7, not an upgrade, then you most likely lost your data.

    All your info is stored locally. Also, you can access your char info on any account on your PC. I've tested that.

    Yeah its all local man. I backed up my save files online though so hopefully if something happens I'll still have em.
