Multiplayer Map Change (zoning) issues

A friend and I are playing 2 player. Everythign goes great until we get to a map transistion. EVERY time it kicks him from the game. I have to leave the game and start a new one then zone over and back to where we want to be THEN reinvite him.

and we continue on our merry way... until we have to transition again.

Anyone else seen this or have a clue how to make it better? Rather annoying.

he is probably timing out. could look around the config files i think i saw something about it.

I've had the same issue. Is there great ping between you two or are you using a somewhat older computer?

I have a pretty decent PC his is low end of a middle ground PC. I know he is on the same ISP as I am, we both have a 12Mb cable connection.

Not sure how to tell our ping times in game. Will see if I can find that. We were gonna next try having him quit the game, then have me zone over and try and reinvite him.

I think it's because he is taking too long to load for him and yeah. What I've gone to doing is juming out of the game and rejoining where I'm useful.
