on a side note when I did not have internet, I was very upset that I could not play my singleplayer steam games. =(

i think they should be blacklisted as it is obvious their corporate offices are willingly breaching contract. Which in turn hurts other retailers, both ones with physical locations and not. If Gamestop sells the game 2 days early, that hurts Valve (for example) as people are going to either cancel pre-orders or just buy the game at Gamestop instead. It will hurt Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart, Stardock, etc. etc. for example.
I can bet the companies most pissed off about it are Valve, D2D, and Stardock. Since they have to deal with later release dates etc. as Digital Download doesn't make up the majority of sales, and then you have a company breaking the release date, thus fucking you over on your pre-orders. Would you honestly be okay with that?
