I read the article that rumble created, and I almost want to go out and buy it even though countless members on the gaming forum are complaining about the game...that's how powerful articles are.

The thing is, it is hard to write an accurate review without buying the game. Buying the game, would tell IW that we are okay with their crappy MP setup, despite of how good the game runs otherwise.
And still my biggest issue is the lack of dedicated servers and IWs apparent uncaring attitude about the PC community as a whole. So as such, there will be no point in writing a review if I don't have the game as it would be nothing more than hearsay. At this point, I still don't plan on buying the game because of the issues already mentioned.
Rumble's review did help shine some light on the game itself though as well as Vito's video demo. Still doesn't change my mind about the game as a whole or IW though.

Re: So you think a game sucks!
OK! I admit it I purchased the damn game! Here is why:
1) My friends wanted me to purchase it so we can play it together.
2) It actually unseated counter-strike as the most played game on steam <-- this sold it for me
My review:
Single player:
They went a little too much WaW version this time around, it seemed like they tried to hard to make it action packed and I hated how they made the final moment in the game a quick-time event. I went through the game on veteran in about 4 hours.
Multiplayer:
I got about 6 hours of multi-player so far and I'm around lvl 33. My biggest beef is the maps are TOO DAMN BIG! I mean seriously big, some of the maps feel vacant at times and it becomes a big campfest. Although it is stated that the multiplayer is 9v9 that is only one mode, most of the time is 6v6. Also everyone only plays team deathmatch. If you choose any other mode of play be prepared to wait a good 5 minutes while IW.net enhances your online experience while it searches vainly for a group of people looking for the same game modes.
Also cheating is pretty widespread, I see lots of wallhacks and lag hacks that lag the server while one guy with the worst ping continues playing unaffected. Also if you equip a noob tube and the secondary called thumper you have 4 rounds of noob tube goodness to spread around. Then you equip the perk scavenge and you have unlimited noob tube goodness thanks to all the free ammo the people you kill give you.
As far as lag is concerned I have not experienced much but then I suspect that I ALWAYS host as I have fiber to my door and play on a high end machine. When there is a bit a lag I notice the game hides it by slowing down the game ala bullet time.
But despite all this I still have fun, I just hate how after every round I get to wait 90 seconds between rounds and how hackers can go around and do whatever the hell they want. The only thing you can do is disconnect and refind a game and hope it doesn't include the hacker again. If they would have included dedicated servers this game would have been better than CS:S. I think it will crest and then go down as the cheaters kill the game as your local neighborhood server mods are not there.
But if anyone wants to friend me up on Steam and so we party up, just search pharacon on steam!

The more I see people's reviews of it, the more I'm glad I didn't get the game and the more obvious it is at how horrible their new system is.
I understand your reasons for wanting to play with you friends, but you don't have to give into peer pressure you know. It is your money, not theirs.

I think the really big beef is the lack of any real modification oportunities and the fact that you cant do jack about hackers. Admins have a real reason to want to remove hackers (kinda their job) but the random guy who starts a game dosnt give a fuck if he has a hacker on his team. As long as his team wins why bother to remove the hacker? I think IW really wanted to focus on the xbox users more then the PC which is kinda lame.
