I find it rather retarded that they can't work with one another. Gearbox is making it more and more apparent that this is a port from the console.

I may wait until a GOTY edition is released. So that way I don't have to worry about not having a credit or debit card.

It will be the same way with the Arma 2 expansion I bet, steam versions tend to dick things up is the real problem since it will always want steam running.

Prolly going to get this after Christmas as I wouldn't have time to play before then anyway.

Borderlands has become my game of choice as of late so I'll probably download this via Steam tonight so I can play it over the weekend.

So has anyone played this yet? I put in a good 2 or 3 hours last nite and Im still on the fence if its worth the $10. Its nice to have new content and the new characters are interesting (especially the Loon Goon), but theres so much fn running around and backtracking. There are no teleports in the whole map but the very first entrance to it and of course most of the missions come from one bounty board, so you have to run your ass all the way back to it to claim your reward or get new missions, all while fighting through hordes of zombies. Im not sure how hard/creepy Old Haven was for any of you (just that old-abandoned feeling to it), but Dead Haven has that same kind of feeling.

It is nice to level up some more though and get some more high-level guns. Its also helpful to have a 5-kill bloodwing in every use

(takes care of a lot of zombies). There are a lot of subtle jokes from the new characters that give the addon some extra pizazz.

I've been away on business the last several days so I haven't been able to play this DLC yet. I hope to be able to play it on Saturday. I'll let you know what I think then. I have watched the intro cut scene and that was pretty cool. I walked around a little bit and the artwork/graphics look amazing. Can't wait to play it.

Well the good 2 or 3 hours I put in the game couldve been ended another 20-30 minutes later. Didnt know I only had a couple of missions left. Ending is pretty amusing. The end boss is really easy. I just kept critting him in the head from a distance with an SMG and it would stun him. Might have been a glitch but he literally just stood in one place while I 'berated' him to death. Didnt do any special moves or anything...
