Re: Thoughts on MW2
I never played any COD or MW before this, so when I tried it for the first time I was very impressed. Overall I think it's a great game.
I love how you can customize your guns and perks. I wish you could do this in Counter Strike... buy attachments to weapons during buy time... and maybe customize perks while you are dead (or maybe similar to WC mods)? It would probably make Counter Strike a totally different game, but still kind of fun to think about.
Graphics and environment detail are also awesome... again I wish Counter Strike graphics were this good.
@Fajita
I didn't like the spawning in MW2, but I'm happy to hear it's a big improvement from previous versions.
@WaterDumple
Glad they fixed the running speed/airdrop problem. The first time I saw this I was like... "wtf?!"I broadcast gaming videos on Twitch TV and my finished videos are on YouTube! Recently I shoutcasted the Counter Strike Tournament at PAX Prime 2012!

Re: Thoughts on MW2
Ohhh, heres my list of stuff I dislike.
One: ACR. Probably one of the most ludicrous guns on the game. Can blaze full auto across the map with virtually no recoil. With Stopping Power, its a nightmare.
Two: Akimbo Glocks. These are infuriating. I lost count of the number of times I've spent a good minute staying hidden from people to try and take out a sniper, only to have him turn around and whip them out, and proceed to rape my face.
Three: Sextex. Basically the upgraded nade. Detonates virtually on impact, can't throw it back, and sticks to people. Also does about 50% more damage. Either nerf this, or buff the frag so its not weak.
Stuff I like:
One: No blatantly overpowered weapons (cept maybe the ACR). Every weapon (except the F2000) has its place. Some of the Assault rifles are a bit too good, but nothing gamebreaking like the AK and M4 from COD4.
Two: Shotguns. I loved shotguns in COD4 and W@W. But it was so annoying how the buckshot turned to confetti after about 20 feet or so. This game, shotguns are actually viable, and serve different purposes. For example, the Spas-12 has the longest range [arguable with an 1887 FMJ], but the slowest ROF [except for a single 1887], while my beloved AA-12 has highest ROF, but the 2nd shortest range [Rangers take THAT cake, but they easily have the highest damage, at a whopping 75x8 spread out of 100HP, enough to take down even someone with painkiller in one hit]
Three: Secondary Weapons. I LOVE how IW did this. I loved shotguns in COD4 and W@W, but I was constantly annoyed at my lack of range. Pistols were all fine and dandy, but you ran out of ammo fast, and more often that not would only alert people that you were there. Or you had to use Overkill, but alot of the weapons needed Stopping Power to be viable. I love gunning down a couple of guys with my Famas, then retreating, pulling out my AA-12 (WITH extended mags :10), and mowing everyone down.
Overall, I'd say this game is more fun that COD4, and its hella fun with a TTP party. I <3 Domination, CTF, and Merc TDM.

Re: Thoughts on MW2
I would like the game a lot more if nade launchers were nerfed. Everything else that is seen as "cheap", (knifers, ACR, etc.) don't compare to these one hit kill, splash damage, 100% accurate (even while moving) weapons. Also, the spawning system sucks the big one.
And we all know that IW won't do a thing about either issue, so bring on Bad Company 2. :4
