wait what MW2? I can not hear you over the sound of my joy thanks to the BF:BC2 beta access coming out in 3 days! But map packs are a joke, Iwonder how much they will go for on pc?

god only knows. *maybe* IW won't charge us for it, since they haven't in the past... But I wouldn't be surprised if it cost the same as the 360/PS3 map packs.

I'm reluctant to pay much for just maps. Although something like a Wet Work, Overgrown, Downpour, Creek combo...that would be awesome.

    Thought:

MW2's Multiplayer is like eating a delicious Pie made form 6 slices, you can have 1 slice of the pie, BUT one of the 6 slices is filled with semen. If you get the one with semen, you can either eat it or throw the entire pie away for a new one, but remember each pie has one slice filled with semen. And occasionally MW2 will be to lazy to bake you a new pie, and you will get the semen slice back with a no return policy. More importantly, as each slice of the pie is eaten you get closer and closer to hitting the semen slice, like Russian roulette, except very very gay.

    And that's the lobby system.

...Yeah. That. Completely. It's some real quality that would be pretty much objectively better if dedicated servers were around.

Something people don't often consider with dedicated servers is that they would actually lead to a decrease in overpowered weapons, such as double shotguns. For instance, many Call of Duty 4 servers have the popular No Martyrdom rule. Obviously, there's no mechanical way to enforce that, but with kickvotes and regulars, people who show up and use forbidden equipment do not last long.

I remember when we almost had the server "normalcore". Normal weapons, HUD, and radar (so silenced weapons were useful), but with Hardcore damage. That would have been awesome.

Multiplayer is hella fun with TTPers. Or failing that, Merc TDM.

Never played a COD game ever, and I just completed MW2s campaign. I thought it was entertaining and the graphics were awesome! Im not really going to investigate the multiplayer, based on reviews, but seriously....what a good game....except for the fact that certain areas had 100,000 enemies

    I also didn't like killing the dogs or civilians....guess I'm a softie.

You can skip that whole airport scene if you want, or can just go through it without killing any civilians. I found that whole scene very nasty and forced...

Personally, I sort of liked killing the dogs in Call of Duty 4, mostly just because they killed me so many times that it's rather awe-inspiring and badass to grab a snarling animal's head and snap its neck like a stick.

i'd feel bad about killing the dogs if they werent such bitches. I started feeling ecstatic when I killed one after being buttfucked about 5 times by a pack of 8 of em.
