No you didn't, but that is my general point. It used to be that ordering through Gamestop was pretty much the only way to get exclusive crap for a newly released game. But over time that has changed. Now you can pick and choose what special perks you want from a wide variety of retailers.

You can order from GameStop for $59.99 and pay 9.99 for overnight delivery (very likely release date)

Or you can order from Best Buy for $59.99 and pay 5.99 for guaranteed release day delivery.

Or you can order from Amazon for $49.99 (that 4 isn't a typo) and pay 9.98 for 1 day delivery (very likely release date)

So... for the same price as picking it up at Gamestop, I can order it off Amazon and have it delivered to my home on release day... And instead of fighting through a bunch of snot nosed kids to turn in my reservation I can sit at home in my PJs sipping a beer.

Back when I was a kid, lol, GameStop was awesome. Other than trading with your friends there weren't any options to sell video games, and there weren't a ton of places to buy them, mainly Toys r Us. The problem became that they had little to no competition, so they kept dropping their trade in values. The good news is if you have the balls and the willpower you could start a competing company and try to do it better.

ha, that was an interesting series, watched most, if not all of em, dunno they're all out of order it seems on that sight. Though I gotta say, while much of it is job specific, a ton of it is not, I can relate to a ton even where I work. Still, was a fun watch since the servers are down! lol

GameStop is going out of business as we speak, which makes me wonder how he thinks they are making tons'O cash.

I buy my kids game cube games there, even his game cube. i spend 50 bucks for 7 games no issues yet.

hes right thou SOTN was 60 bucks last time i saw it there...i ahve two copies anyone want one heheehe

You can buy it from the ps3 store for 9 bucks thats where i got mine from
