There are 9 parts of it, and I highly recommend watching all of them. If even 10% of what this guys says is true it makes me unwilling to give any money to GameStop.

Re: Why Gamestop sucks...
yeah,I just came back from my discrete mathematics course and the teacher talks like this.... but with a Romanian accent. I got halfway through the first with my head hurting.
If anyone is in Houston and listens to 94.5 the Buzz, I keep thinking its going to pause like after they give the speech for the "Rock-out with your Stock-out" with "SLOW DOWN!!!!" and "SLOW DOWN YOU STUPID SON-OF-A-...."

Having worked at Gamestop for a few months (it was a seasonal position), I can some there is a good deal of the info that is true and a good deal that is not true. However, I also know that things have changed some since I last worked there (I still keep in touch with my former employees). And this is just what I can gather from the 1st episode.
For example, people coming in with stolen shit. Technically we can't prove it is stolen or not, especially around Christmas and what not.
Prices are pretty much flat rates for that game/system, regardless of it's condition or contents. There were a lot of people who just loose the manuals for the game or even the casing somehow, so we made our own casings as needed.
However, we did test all systems before they were traded in to make sure they would work. If it didn't boot up at least, you didn't get your money. Depending on the issue, you may or may not have gotten your money. Again, depending on the issue, they'd just send it back to get it fixed and resell it later.
We did a similar process for games. If the disk was scratched to all hell, we'd usually test it before taking it back. If it was decent, we'd usually check it later. Now we didn't check all the games unfortunately simply because that is a lot to test as the guy said.
Gamestop does make a lot of money off of used games though since all they money they get from them is strictly profit.
So far though it sounds like the guy is blowing a few things way out of proportion. Or perhaps it just depends on your store manager or regional manager. Can't really say for sure.

Re: Why Gamestop sucks...
Well there are a few factors going into this:
#1. Branding: Everyone knows GameStop's reputation and because of what they here and see online and on the TV influences their desicions to shop there.
#2. Public influence: You have taken to mind that GameStop is an evil manipulating company because you watched these videos, probably had a couple bad experiences, and saw something at a better idea.
#3. Relative Value: There are is a balance between the amount of work, the price provided, and the atmosphere of the shop. For GameStop you get +,-,+, they have a decent atmosphere with game demos, walls filled with games, and that one game you always wanted. Online shops are more of a -,+,_(Neutral), in theory the better value is gamestop because you have a nice balance and you can get past the - thing.
But in retrospect it all comes down to the opinion you have, and if you think so thats fine, all I know is that GameStop has offers that other places have, while they may not be in price they are in goodies. Which brings a bit of a social norm into the current market norm which improves the value of the game depending on what you get with the expensive game.
But I don't recommend buying used games unless you are desprate, ya, they don't have any of the aforementioned goodies. They are just a hastle. But We arn't talking about used games in your quote.
And I'll leave it at that.

Meh Frag?
The only exclusive thing that GameStop is offering for BFBC2 is immediate access to the AKSU-74.
All the other preorder "limited edition" things are available on Amazon, Target, Best Buy, and everyone else (and I assume Steam soon). And at the same price.
