Thread: Must be connected to webs to play AC2

So if you aren't somewhere with Internet or your connection drops out. Hell if the power goes out (laptop) you basically can't play the game you bought?

Assassin's Creed 2 for PC was given DRM that requires a constant Internet connection for the game to work. If your Internet drops for any reason, you are kicked from the game, losing all progress you have made since the last save.

EDIT: GRRR. I swear I searched for dupe posts before making this. And now I see the dupe post. Merge please.

Ubisoft is lame. They don't seem to understand the impact.

Summary is that soldiers overseas won't likely be able to play AC2 because of limited net connectivity.

All I have to say, is that if I do want to play this game on a PC, well, I can't say here how I will accomplish that. But I know I'm not alone.
