What's worse is I saw on Steam that they are actually charging PC players now for these map packs. Fuck that. The point of PC is to get all your updates for free because you can. Damn console whores who actually pay for those extra maps are really screwing over the PC crowd.

You actually sound pissed about this? My lil brother bought the damn game, 'cause he is a compulsive and impulsive freak who doesn't know a good game from the back of his hand. I played the campaign for it's short 5 or 6 hours, thought, wow that's a great campaign, but definitely not worth $60. I haven't really cared too much about MW2 Multiplayer at all to be honest. If I could run BC2, I would definitely pick that up though. So in my mind, they can charge whatever they want for those maps, hell, even if those maps were free I wouldn't give a flying f*@!k, 'cause that game is craptastic at best. You guys ever watch any of the youtube videos where the host leaves or disconnects and the game freezes for 5 secs while someone else is selected as the host. Yeah, that's awesome, totally don't need the dedicated servers!

yeah. IW is gonna milk all the MW2 players dry. The sad thing is, all (yes, all of them) of these maps were actually in the game code. All the 15 bucks does is "unlock" them. What a dick move. I can *kinda* understand wanting to get paid for making 3 new maps, and texturing up 2 old ones, but when their already there, and you just spend 30 minutes writing the stuff to unlock and play it, that's just being greedy.

You can kind of expect most future games to charge for add on content. It's an easy money maker.

Lol, in the past we used to get brand new maps that WEREN'T already programed into the game for free with patches that actually fix things.

That's what they did with the CoD1 1.5 patch

Next thing we know they will charge you for patches to fix problems with the games coding.

credit where credit is due, IW did fix an very OP weapon (youtube 1887 akimbo and you'll see what I'm talking about) and an almost game breaking glitch that let you run about 200% faster than normal. But that's about it.

Yea they fixed it only for it to be put back to normal when you had FMJ equipped.

Reckon they are fixed now, but just silly how they forgot to fix the attachments too. Care package glitch was fun while it lasted, but annoying at the same time. Look back and wish I had not spent $60 on this game. $15 for 5 maps

!? Almost glad IW is falling apart now.
