Well I finally have the game installed and functioning. The additional mech files I previously offered do not work, the files are corrupted and crash the game.

I haven't tried MP yet, I'll need some time to get re-acquainted with the game before jumping into the fray.

We need to set a night and get some ttpers together to rock some multiplayer. It is a lot more fun when everyone is at comparable skill levels than joining the public servers and getting your ass handed to you repeatedly.

Okay, I have this game up and running good. I've even made some custom mechs, some old school, some new designs.

I love the huge inventory of mechs and weapons to choose from.

Now all I need is some online trigger time.

I'm really liking the Grim Reaper. A 55 ton medium that has enough speed and firepower to stay in a fight.

I used to use the GR a lot in the old MW 2 games. I'm glad they made it available again.

I tend to like the Inner Sphere mechs with puretech weapons, guess it is just the roleplayer in me.

Bushwacker, Osiris and Owens seem to do me well lately even though they are on the light side.

Reaper is an I.S. battlemech, it's of the earlier designs, pre-clan tech. I do load it out with clan weapons though, 2- cstrk-6's and 6- cermlas. Heat is a problem if you get to trigger-happy, but it cools fast enough. Speed-wise I can do about 70 kph, which about average for a medium. I could put JJ's on it, but seldom do.
