Hmm, if this is coming out Spring of 2011 though, I wonder when the MMO version is coming out, or if it has been scrapped/converted to Torchlight II instead?

I'd wager the MMO is still a ways off, and this is another injection of funding for the MMO project. If nothing else it will lessen the wait for Diablo 3.

I also hope there is some more diversity in the levels and that there are more classes with different abilities/skill trees/whatever.

True on both accounts. It'll be really helpful too if they put the price at say $50. I'd be willing to pay that for sure if they keep the same style with the touch ups it looks like they are wanting to deliver.

I wouldn't think so if they want to keep it like the first one and the traditional feel for these dungeon crawler type games. I'd hope so just to give it a modern feel though.

The article said 4 classes from what I saw. I didn't see a mention of the abilities types or skill trees though. Still, 4 classes should be good, especially with the option to customize your characters now.

I hope this one has, at least "Titan Quest" style multiplayer (where we can play co-op even if we can't attack each other). Also, 4 TPGers in a Titan Quest/Immortal Throne game would be pretty sweet...
