Thread: Super Mario Bros turns 25 today

I think i was like 4 or 5 when my dad took to Toys R Us are rainy saturday decided to drop 400 bucks on NES, a couple games and 2nd controller.

We played zelda and duck hunt that whole weekend.

Pissed my stepmom off which was fine with me.

I worked at a local pizza joint in HS that had a Super Mario machine. I played every day,and owned every high score. My friend and I would go from start to finish (no warping),and see who could do it the fastest.

What a great game....

Ah, I remember every single one of those games. They missed a few though like all the GB ones (like before they had color), the other SNES mario (Super Mario RPG), and the Paper Mario games. I guess they just showed they're bit hit games though.

Still great to see that video. Makes me want to go home and celebrate with a little Mario tonight or at least over the weekend.
