Iv always enjoyed the civ games but I never really got into 4. I played the crap out of Civ 2 tho. Seems alot has changed since then, but some of the changes look to be really good. I think it will make fights alot more interesting now that they are making it so only 1 unit can be on a square and you cant just stack great defence units in a city to defend. The interview they did was a great example of how it changes fighting. Dunno if im gonna pick it up though. I never have enough friends to play at home and playing over the net seems like it could take FOOOOREVER.

I've already downloaded it and am waiting eagerly for Tuesday. Gotta get ahead on my work and grading so I can play all Tuesday night.

I talked to one of the game designers of Civ 5 today. That was cool.
He said he didn't like civ games at first, but when he had to start playing
them for his job, he found it was kind of addicting. So now he likes the
game.

Most annoyingly, I can find absolutely no information on the statistics of the Babylon Civ. They've already released all the info on the other ten (unique units/buildings special ability etc.) But I can't find a damn thing about Babylon.
