Have you played it and if so did you like it?www.secondlife.com
This isn`t wow or your normal rpg ,this is simply a second life .Enter if you dare if you play add me to friends or im me MorbX Core .I do help new comers with clothing ,skins,shapes ,animation overrides ,scripts,theme tours to find your way.

Yeah, it was great for "furry" if you were on the kid servers. And those were horrible, I had played on those.
Just look for the right areas and you actually meet some interesting people. I haven't been on in a while though. If I do happen to log in, my name is Oddly Broken.

I see it as more of a tool than anything as do most people I know. It's not a game, just a simulator and a tool to experiment and learn. We actually had a class on it and it was interesting to see some of the things they do with it. We even had people from the UK talk to us through it and some NASA people show us around their island and explain things to us. Basically it was like taking a tour without paying the expenses.
One of my professors is really big on this and has a lot of contacts from all over the world and from all sorts of nice companies. We even had a conference on campus recently discussing virtual environments and where they are headed and possible uses.
