Not rewarding anyone is how it should be done. Sure, level people up, but don't give them new weapons and perks. The game loses balance fast...

And CSS will likely live on for many more years while other games die. Why? Because it is balanced, unlike the COD series games.

BF2 (outside of the jetwhore problem) is a lot more balanced then CSS. I'd argue even DoD:S is more balanced then CSS.

I hated when people got "Death Streaks" in CoD MW2 because it means the noobs get something for sucking. Kill streaks in BLOPS are actually very smart because you can't get a kill streak from a kill streak. You can't just call in a Attack Chopper and camp and wait for it to get 3 kills for a Chopper Gunner because you actually have to earn those 9 kills by your gun, grenade, or anything from you besides kill streaks. Plus, Kill Streaks are VERY EASY to counter now. If someone gets a chopper gunner now, there is already like 5 people on a team with the Strela-3 (It's a Anti Air Only Rocket Launcher with 2 shots) trying to get Ghost Pro or something. The only Kill Streaks I find useful are Spy Plane, Counter Spy Plane, SR-71, Napalm Strike, and Rolling Thunder. They aren't the best but can really help the team.
