Thread: Fear makes me pee my pants...

yea, there is no combat in the game at all, but that makes it so much more intense.

Fear was good til you realized there was a formula.. start each level with creepy lighting, heavy shadows and Alma in either her The Ring mode, or later in her The Grudge mode.. then you fight cardboard cut-out bad guys and Alma stops pestering you. Rinse repeat.. now and again the formula is backwards.. fight the cookie-cutter bad guys, then move to a poorly lit area and Alma.

Only 2 times did that game make me jump, and both times it was when they broke formula and Alma jumped out at me while I was in "fighting guys" mode.

So far Fear 2 has more scare factor and less formula, but I like the combat style less. I liked being able to peek around corners in Fear 1.. and now I can't in fear 2. Fear 1 recognized my additional mouse buttons, so I could set melee to the thumb button, Fear 2 doesn't.. I DO like that I can throw objects around to use as cover, in Fear 2, tho. The motion blur in the second game threw me for a loop at first.. now that I'm used to it, I kinda like it. Still and all, I find the second one to be much creepier... tho I miss The Ring Alma.. this one has nearly exclusively The Grudge Alma.

Interested in trying out Amnesia

I am a big dissapointe horror fan, i like horror not torture movies i wasnt intrested in amnesia untill i saw my nicky yelling and then crying from fear, i was like.... intresting
so i tried it......
lol i found myself running yelling myself
very intresting game i didnt think i would be into a first person escape? since u cant shoot anything and throwing stuff is pointless unless u wana brake some things ....
