Thread: Server request

While I'm hosting this at home before the move to the data center. Gonna ask a favor. Don't sit idle for hours on end. Disconnect if you aren't going to be playing. Even idle it's sending 20k+ per second to the client chewing up bandwidth.

Would it still be doing that if ghosts of people were in the server? We experienced it several times last night where someone disconnected and 20 minutes later !who was still saying they were in the server (or two of someone at times).

No. Ghosts don't do it. I don't think it's the minecraft server creating the ghosts btw... I'm pretty sure it's MCAdmin.
