By the way (saw this on gamersgate facebook), apparently you can get some free in-game items by signing up for the Dragon Age II newsletter. Apparently you can also get 3 free items for liking Dragon Age on facebook:

Sigh, they dumbed down a lot of things. I also don't think your companions can get specialties, which means craptacular healing by mages other than the main character (why the hell did they make the cooldown for heal 40s with no upgrades to decrease that?).

I'm slowly getting the feeling that I wasted money on a game.

You gotta use a***** to heal... You cant get specialties for your characters other then their specific tree... Half of a***** special tree is healing based

Yeah, I figured that because I took B****** with me, and the story killed that character off. Didn't let me keep the really good equipment I had for my healer either.

I'm about 15 hours in and I'm still waiting for the story to kick in...I just wanna gtfo of Kirkwall. I hope the whole game isn't here -.-

Its an attempt to not spoil anything about who joins you and whatnot. Atleast on my part. For people who were reading the thread to learn about the game but didnt own it.

I'm enjoying the game and story and all but I cant help but feel there is no adventure, or objective...just deal with the city's problems as they come up.

I'm level 18 and still haven't left the city, so I'm not betting on it(except maybe for a final quest or something)

I'm 5 years in and haven't left the city. I have a friend who's close to beating the game, and he hasn't left the city. I guess this is and the whole recycling maps instead of unique ones for each dungeon is why DA2 is only 5 gigs as opposed to 24 gigs.
