Re: Microsoft's Future for PC Gaming
I've seen this video come up several times and have chosen not to watch it solely based on the thumbnail, combined with the fact that it is associated with the PC and the mere thought of that makes me start choking. Microsoft is such a douchebaggy company that I really don't want to see their control of games go beyond their terrible breaks-if-you-breathe-on-it console. I would only support it in terms of a PC vs. Mac/Microsoft vs. Apple basis, but Apple really manages to to out of its way to fuck with people to the point that almost anything is better.
Hell, this sort of thing is the whole fucking reason I left consoles and put all the effort into switching to PC, which is no small task if you've never built a computer before and have to learn everything from the start. When I think of all the things I'm excited for--like Red Orchestra 2, Brink, and even all the less orthodox/mainstream things--Microsoft has little to no hand in anything I like about them.

Re: Microsoft's Future for PC Gaming
By going with the 75% (moderate and causal gamer) this a smart business move....
It is upsetting however that the Hardcore gamers like those found throughout this site will suffer the consequences of the casual/moderate gamer influx...
