Thread: Needa bit of help

So i installed a texture pack, and it crashed the game. Now the game wont load when the menu is supposed to come up, and I dont know how to get to the folder where the packs are held.

How do i fix this?

I *think* you might have to delete the minecraft.jar located in C:\users\<user>\appdata\roaming\.minecraft\bin

Well i couldnt type that in, it said the path was wrong. So either it doesnt exsist or something.
And yes before you ask I put the right user where you said <user>

open your search program and type %appdata% , if you still can't find it then you're pretty fucked

What kind of texture packs? High Rez?

That probably what happend to me, I tried a high res one and it crashed it.

In order for High Rez texture packs to work you need to install a mod and then use the mod to install the pack. Simply placing them into the folder as .Zips like regular packs doesn't work unfortunately.
