Each game appears to mark off an Hour of the planned release time. 13 Hours early why not.

Not really related to my point. My point is that only Valve has access to the data about how many people are participating in each game, and only they deem the game "complete." So it's naive to trust them to honestly use the real usage stats (against a numerical formula that isn't even exactly public), when it is much more in their interest to release on their own schedule, a little early, and simple tell all the ARGer's (in the "voice" of a game character known for dishonesty) they made it happen.

My guess is that each bar will complete in time, regardless of how many people play along. Nobody will know the truth except for Valve.

I have been pounding away at this like a mad man, I had to use a lot of tricks to get all of those darn taters.... but alas I have done it.

I agree, it wouldn't hurt them and it would be easy.

That said... in 15 minutes brick & mortar stores on the east coast can legally sell Portal 2 (4/19). So no, there really isn't an early release.

I think it took me a good 50-80 hours....

and now that I find that all I got was a valve complete pack, of which I owned everything except condition zero, and all the extra copies aren't giftable..... a bit sad, UNLESS they give me all future valve games.
