    Paving the roads

I was wondering if any of you would be opposed to a project I've been wanting to start. I'd like to replace all the gravel roads with stone slab roads. I just think that since we have a huge city and castles out in the distance, why can't we have decent, stone quality roads, instead of paving the roads with gravel? Most of you guys live away from the roads anyway, but I use them regularly to get in and out of the city.

So, what do you guys think?

The gravel makes nice sounds when you walk on it...

And what would be the point, besides cosmetic? There's no speed bonus for walking on stone than on gravel. Also, a HUGE pain to redo if a creeper goes boom (it will destroy the stone, correct?).
    Why no rank?

Because that isn't why or how I play.

But the flipside is... as long as you aren't destroying things... *I* don't care if you repave the roads.

Instead of redoing the roads maybe talk to mez and help him set up a track system to your place. I know the his original plan was to make an elaborate system that will allow everyone to return "home" but now that everyone is going to separate ends of the map it might be a task larger then one person now.
