You can be a fast character, going in a straight line towards the finish, and out of nowhere DK or Bowser go flying past at the speed of sound without using any items at all.

Oh, they definitely cheat. Mario Kart is infamous for the elastic AIs in nearly every one of them.

Even worse is when you're in first for two laps straight, then get hit by a blue shell moments before you cross the finish line and a mass of eager people go speeding by you to ruin your win.

Neverwinter Nights. Not the mechanics, but the enemies. Bosses and mini-bosses in particular. First mini-boss is a Gang Leader that can kill you and your henchmen easily. Then there's the Sorcerers. Oh god, the invisibility spell to make them impossible to hit, then come the 15 flying Fireballs to kill you, your henchmen, your pet, your summoned animal, and every crate in the room at the same time. Then there's the dragons. They're 15 feet tall, yet apparently can dodge attacks from 4 people/animals at once... Then there's the enemies that appear as "Effortless" that require a LOT of effort to kill and can actually kill YOU provided you miss a couple times.

And of course, World of Tanks. Nothing annoys me more than dying in a battle because I'm the LEAST threatening tank on the team. Or, shooting a spot on a tank that always penetrates, and bounces instead. That problem is compounded when you're using slower firing guns.

Close call between APB and CS:S....

Counter Strike has the shitty hitboxes and spray-to-win mechanic going for it (not to mention the Source engine laser-bullets), but APB has the worst community I have ever seen in a video game, along with pay-to-win guns...

I'll be giving this one to APB, simply because of just how totally messed up the game is, even with tons of dev time going for it. CS:S can be fun if played in a few short sessions, but if I play for more than a few maps it can make me rage like no other.

Runner's Up:
TF2 (Don't even get me started on how Valve fucked this jewel up)
WoT (Have to pay to make money off of high-tiered tanks, or to get to those tanks in a reasonable amount of playtime, along with having to rely on 14 other random people to do their jobs)

IF you want to see a really bad community, go check out Faces of Mankind (if it is still around and still free) shit community most of the time.

I remembersd one game that really pissed me off, Double Dragon (iirc) for NES. It seemed like it was impossible to beat, probably the hardest game I can remember playing ever. Arrrggggghhhh
