Well at least the physical store. The above link is a story about how Gamestop was order to open the Deus Ex and remove a coupon from it b/c the coupon was for a competitor (OnLive). I like how they did this without even telling the customers until it was brought up. I've known Gamestop of opening items and taking out the free trial of xbox live and resealing it and selling as new. So what do ya think of this shady act by Gamestop?

yeah was going to post the same article. Explains, a lot, why I go out of my way to stay out of gamestop. Shitty move all the way around.

Regardless of whether On-Live is a good service or will be around or whatever. GameStop opening a product and removing any of the contents and failing to disclose that is really poor.

It would be like Wal-Mart removing some kind of coupon offer for a service from a box of cereal because they offer (or might in the furure) a similar service without telling the purchaser of said cereal "Hey, we've had our hands all up in your shit."
