Re: 1.8 Trailer
What I hate is that the world we have won't change to include the new biomes and villages and stuff unless we go somewhere unexplored. Unfortunately we've explored rather extensively.
So......................
Going to look into installing one of the multi-world mods and adding some portals to a new world to our own. I'm sure nobody wants to start over, so I think that might be the best option. Then we can come and go to a new world as we please.

Minecraft 1.8 PRE-RELEASE. This is a Pre-release of 1.8. Basically, Mojang is saying, "Here's a taste of 1.8 before we officially release it."
UNFORTUNATELY, it seems every person in the United States has decided simultaneously that they want to play Minecraft again, and the login servers are horribly backed up. Trying to log in results in the client saying "Cannot connect to Minecraft.net", even though you can clearly type "Minecraft.net" into your browser and connect to it in half a second.
I guess I'll wait until tomorrow before I try logging in (I've been trying since 1:00 PM to get in)"In matters of style, swim with the currents... in matters of principle, stand like a rock."
