To The Moon
This a indie RPG/Adventure game, that finally got a release date of Nov 1
I'm for sure getting this game, and probably the soundtrack too.
"My goal for To The Moon, is for you to play it, watch the ending, and say 'wow, that was f***ing satisfying, may I have another?'"
Quote from the dev in the second video.
Also you did hear right that is Laura Shigihara singing in the trailer, and if you don't know who she is, she is the sunflower from PvZ.

Re: To The Moon
The second video intrigued me. Mostly the ending bit where he says that the game lasts around 4-5 hours and stated not to compare it to games, books or movies, but just as a method of story telling. Obviously, I wouldn't pay >$15 for each 'game' in the series, but at $12, I think I could really enjoy it if it has great stories to tell.
Although... the trailer also made it seem like a love story...

Re: To The Moon
Well watching the trailer and parts of the second video I can see why you would think that, I kinda get that feeling too, like him going up to her and asking her name, that's classic romance stuff. Where did you find the 12$ thing I could only find a price for the soundtrack(which was in CAD wish steam did that), I've been enjoying lots of these indie games recently, enough so that yeah I think I'd be willing to pay to see how this turns out.
EDIT: You can listen to someone the soundtrack on the website now, it seems really good. To the Moon <OST> | Reives.Freebird

Re: To The Moon
Ok, well I pre-ordered the soundtrack, and also the game on Desura, looking around on it I love the way it has the mods easy to install so I finally got around to playing Stanley Parable.
Also it has prices in CAD which is the greatest thing ever and I love it. Thanks for pointing me to this, I had seen it on my indie bundle pages but didn't really check it out.
I'll talk about the game when it comes out.

New trailer, I'm an hour and a half or so into the game, it's pretty good so far, the music is fantastic I'm not going to say anyone other than there is a one hour demo up on Desura and that I'm loving the soundtrack so far.

Re: To The Moon
Just finished this and wow... WOW I am amazed by this, I don't know if I want another game which this is totally open for or not, as it will be completely different characters. I think I'm going to play through it again soon just to catch all the little stuff you find out about.
And thoughts after finishing the game, it took me about 4 hours to finish and I feel it was totally worth the asking price others may not agree, with the 1 hour demo that leaves you with only 3 hours first playthrough for the not even 12.50 on desura, but I found the 3rd act to be great and one of the highlights of the game, and with the way it's set up you're going backwards through his memories so you'll see stuff that may not make sense then but will later on and that's always good for a second playthrough. They call it an Adventure game but it's not a traditional one with a ton of puzzles and inventory and the like, if you ever played Puzzle Agent it's kind of like that, with even less puzzles, it's more of what I would call an interactive story. It being so out of the box makes it hard for me to say if you like whatever game pick this up, but I can say there is a one hour demo that you can try, it looks like when you buy the game you just enter a code so you keep that progress. The music is fantastic, the story pulls you in, and it's just a great experience I really recommend you check this out even if it's only trying the demo to find out you don't like it if after the hour or so you don't feel into the story or the like then don't buy it as this is a very story driven game, but I do recommend trying it, and also checking out the soundtrack which is fantastic and gives parts of it's profits to charity.
Sorry for the rambling and all but I just finished the game and am not proofreading right now.
