A guesser can game the system and increase their chances of winning. In this case, there is an advantage to being the last one to guess. You probably already know that.

Checking at random.org, I see that that you can specify a range over which to generate a random number with a discrete uniform distribution. One way to give all entrants an equal chance of winning is to count entrants and sequentially assign them a number (starting at 1 and continuing to N, where N is the number of entrants). Then use random.org to choose a number from 1 to N.

You probably already knew that too.

But picking a number is fun. I choose:

Yeah I know that, but I wanted to keep it easy to understand and keep it like the other free games people have given out (Terraria, CS:S, DoD:S) and this is the way they did it.

I will be picking in 8 hours and 40 minutes.
