IMO the recent posts block is most beneficial to visitors, not to regulars. Most regulars will go to the sections of the forums for the games they play, and will sometimes click on a recent post topic if it catches their eye. However, for new members it is the Cliff's Notes version of what we are all about. With that being said how many visitors will come to the site and say, "Finally, I can get opinions of gamers on gun control, birth control, gay marriage, etc?"
One again, IMO, the posts from the drama section is not what we should promote in the most vital real estate on our site.Warflagon liked this post

Re: "Recent Posts"
I find recent posts useful, but I agree with Civilwarts on this. The drama forums is very active and you´ll just catch a glimpse of probably the 2nd darkest corner of TPG (the 1st being IRON, of course) everytime you log on to the forums.

Re: "Recent Posts"
That's because it's popular. People spark up convos in the drama section because (insert your game) has nothing interesting going on. I enjoy the recent posts . I still occasionally seek out certain game boards but not nearly as often. I'm lazy I don't want to dig.

This pretty much, seen other vB forums do it so it is doable (not sure how hard it is to do but still can be done).
As for more gaming posts, the drama section is exactly what to look at. Why? Because notice if you take a interesting/hot topic + make a post=massive debates (sadly without better rules and a lot of the people there, they are incredibly shitty debates). Still of the opinion if we want to focus on gaming, need to get more content for people to debate/discuss to lead to more gaming talk then drama.
