That makes no sense at all.
www.teamplayergaming.com/smart-public-discussion
and
www.teamplayergaming.com/smart
give the same information, because we are a forums.Last edited by DancingCorpse; 04-02-13 at 11:13 PM.

It makes it simpler for the clans that are not centered around TPG hosted games such as SMART who have members not yet registered on TPG and clans as such that want to recruit players in those games. teamplayergaming.com/smart would be easier to remember, and simpler to put in, than teamplayergaming.com/smart-public-discussion and it just looks cleaner, too, IMO.

Re: Shortened clan forum links
The link is named from the forum name itself. So in order to shorten the link we would have to drop "Public Discussion" from the name of the forum as well. Do that, and the other clans' forum link changes and anywhere they have posted a link or anyone they've given it to no longer works. If there was a way to set up an alias in vbulletin I would do so, but there is not that I am aware of. So it's a moot point.
You could always go buy www.smartclan.net and point it to the forum. That will be even easier to remember.

Re: Shortened clan forum links
Perhaps there is a vbull plugin for redirecting/shortening the name...
