Thread: TTP Noobies

Why?
It works very well for BF2Combat.
It sends the people to the right place after all the registration is over.
It doesn't have to be as elaborate as I pointed out, just like when you are installing a program when your agreeing to have it installed.
Have a few radio buttons set up with a few questions. Like
Do you play BF2
Do you play CCS
Do you play DoD
Do you play BF2142
Do you play ....
And/or have it in the verification email once you have verified it takes you to the sticky that tells you what you need to do to start their stay here. There could be a few links in there that directed them to complaints or requests. Once the initial introduction is over they can look around and figure it out on their own.

I guess I know what you mean, for the ones that come in to complain they will lie about why they didn't follow protocall.

But I think it would help some of the ones that come in and are looking for a certain area to read about.
Just some thoughts that I thought would be nice. and helpful.

I'm not going to lie. I'd probably be a little hot headed if I were banned too...if it was a server I didn't play on much.
However...

TTP is one of my favorite servers to play bf2142 on (first one I always check when I load up the game). I've played enough to get a good feel for what is expected. Now, I have not looked into the banned forums to see what some of the instances look like, but most things should be pretty much common sense. You know, like...don't cheat, respect other players (ESPECIALLY clan members, but everyone else as well), and join a bloody squad, for god's sake.

Quite frankly, I don't intend to really get to understand the ban system because, quite frankly, I don't plan on getting banned. If, in the off instance i DO get banned, however, I think I'd probably try to work WITH the admins to fix whatever caused it.

I understand this post may seem a little jumbled, but it's 3AM, so sue me. x_x
