losing key packets and high ping???

I was online ( for a few minutes ) and they was booted off a few different times my ping went from the 100's to 200's then shot up to 2500. After I waited I joined in again then was kicked for losing key packets.. What does that mean? I know we are still in the merge process but is that part of it ? Will that be smoothing out?

Well it happens for both BF2 and BF2142. Refer to this sticky, there are many solutions in it.
