Wow, saved me some time bunni. I actually started today to promise myself to never check my rank ever again.

Actually I agree that taking rank out of the server would help promote allot more team play, people wouldn't be able to say "I'm first on the server so I'm best" or "My kd ratio is 2.5 I'm so leet." '

Instead they would have to prove them self by being active on their mic, moving with the team and making good calls. That would be the only way to prove their worth.

It should have but there's one problem, people don't just look in this area, and the recent posts list is only 5 posts long, they should probably double that imo.

ranks on the server are about point totals. not just KDs. it's abotu rescuing hotsages, winning rounds, planting bombs, and getting defusals. Kills help, but objectives help the most.

    Re: In game stats (CSS)

From what I've noticed, BD is absolutely correct. MY KD is horrible but i still seem to get quite a lot of points and just broke the top 80 in rank with like a .63 KD(while that may not seem like much, top 80/2000+ is an accomplishment i would think for only playing CS for 1 week). I usually wind up in front or trying to be one of the first through the doors at bombsites and such but I try to be as much of a team player as i can be. I find that completing the objectives and being a team player increases your stats MORE than just going around killing people or trying to be a Ramboesque type player.
