its probably just the survival pack i doubt there will be an anouncment for any real new campaigns/weps/infected till a few months after survival pack arrives.
edit- this is certainly refering to the survival pack since the news is dated dec2008

I doubt they'll give us a day theme since the game itself is meant to be a survival horror game. There's nothing frightening about daylight, but night is when imaginations run wild, making all those bumps and creaks in your houses take the form of various monsters.
Plus the fact is that you will be able to see better around you, making you better able to spot zombies, taking away some of the surprise factor.Khorne Flakes! They're Heretically Delicious.

I disagree with this. I dont know anyone who is scared to play L4D, and to say that making it day removes the "fear" element is completly retarded considering this game isn't even scary.
And if you truly believe that things become "less scary" during the day just because its easier to see, then your wrong buddy. And on top of that, im not playing this game to be scared im playing to have fun, and day time maps can be loads of fun.

Eh, true enough, though being called retarded is hurtful.

It's probably where you go up against an infinite # of hordes and Special Infected and see how long you can last.
