Overhauling the site

I was looking at my old clan's website, and I was amazed. I like TTP's simplicity, but has anyone ever thought over upgrading the visual components? Anyone else think it's time for a TTP overhaul?

Boy those phalanx guys have an awesome website....heh. The clan syndicates banner has more doo dads and crap going on with it. Jesus christ its busy.

We have discussed a face lift recently, just kinda in passing. Different colors, maybe.

Thing is, both those sights you mention are dark, and one of them was modeled after TTP - basically.

We keep this website clean, easy to read and add free because we're here to game, and dont have time for confusing links and hard to find information.

I think the simplicity is a large part of what I like about the design....matter of fact compared to texas pain, texas milita, and a few other "peers" I think we've got the best site around.....although constant improvement is always the way forward.

Any specific ideas are welcome.

as long as we keep our traffic counters in the top10 of every major game tracker we can find.....

I'm satisfied.

We update our banned to coincide with the games we are hosting. But other than that, it is unlikely that we will be changing the color scheme, block outlines, or template.

People don't like change. Google, Yahoo (though recently has changed), paypal.......shit stays the same so people that have been using it for a while, and are familiar with where PM's are, where their profile is, where their account is, where their paypal is, where their clan is, where their admin forums are, where the banned topic are, where _________.
