TTP cares probably more than you do. And as an admin/reservist showing your level of care in a "Issues improvements thread" you should probably care a "little more".

You have your opinions civil, but they should reflect upon TTPS BEST INTERESTS, not your own.

From TTPs standpoint overall: We want new players on the server, we want to convert those new players to teamplayers, then to regulars, and eventually convert those regulars to reservists.
But going out of our way to accommodate anyone that is not paying for a reserved slot is not very far up on the list of priorities imho.

I would have no problem at all with it being entirely random, and in fact think that is exactly how it should be. That in my opinion would be the only 'fair' way to handle it:

2 non-reservists on the server = 50% chance of getting the boot when a slot player joins.

You can start to get into breaking it down based on time played today, score, the winds on saturn, or whatever, but to me it seems silly to do anything other than randomly pick a non-paying player and boot them and no system is going to be viewed as 'fair' - what about taking into account how many hours someone has on the server over the past week? What if they helped prime the server every day for a month, what if what if what if.

Make it simple, make it entirely random. Then talk up TTP and the forums, convert those new players into regulars, then convert those regulars into reservists.

How about a lock then?

So because you had a valid point before its not valid to others who dont have a slot because you have one?

The validity of points still exists, wether the OP has a reserve slot or not.
