css motd update
i can't count how many players i've seen get slayed without warning for quickswitching or bunnyhopping, innapropriate names or a porn spray. A racist comment or a drug reference, and then get into an argument with people and/or admins over it.
Let's update the motd in the css servers, every server in existence has one and people have gotten used to simply pressing ok and getting into the game. right at the very top, in big bold letters, i think we need to have
NO QUICKSWITCHING
NO BUNNYHOPPING
NO PORN SPRAYS
NO RACIST/DRUG COMMENTS
I think this would save alot of admins some trouble.

Re: css motd update
Guys,
Since when do we ban porn sprays?
Racist comments like calling me a "cracker?" in game?
We don't limit speech or sprays unless they are more offensive than something you'd seen in a rated X or R movie. The game involves serious violence, what's wrong with language and light nastiness to be judged at the admins discretion?
Slaying w/o warning seems to be an issue to me as well.
Do we need to bring this up with the CSS admins?
These seem like admin issues, not things to be fixed in the MOTD.

I think he's saying we need to put the rules in the MOTD. People who QS don't know that you can't because there's no rule that says it until you get slayed or warned.
Me: "But the Gunslinger is so much more fun..."
Langrad: "We're here to win, not to..."
Me: "Have fun?" "Hahaha"

I am in the same mind as Specter.
Since I can remember, we've never allowed porn prays on the servers.
As for the comments, it usually depends on how it is used.
Some just coming in and saying something like "fuck you fucking nigger" or something, tends to be something I've seen that is not acceptable on the servers.
Now people calling each other names can be done in good fun too. Usually though, I think it depends on the admins on and how everyone on the server takes it.
I think the names/drug references has been a hit/miss type of thing and some people try to think if it isn't allowed on the forums, it isn't allowed in the servers. Again though, it would have to depend on the reference I suppose and how obvious it is and what not, but not so much of a problem as the racial slurs.
