Sounds like a great idea, but it might be best to do a market study first. You could try taking the lead with music threads in the "Off the Server" forum and see how much demand there is for a seperate music forum.

Just to give you an idea for what it takes to get a new forum you can look at past TTP history. There have been several attempts to create a seperate forum for politics and religion and/or news topics, and those were judged to not have enough volume to justify their own forum. Please keep in mind that we are a gaming web site.

You might have better luck with a forum for musicians to create a TTP theme song, original music for the Steam servers, stuff like that. Those are things that are copyrightable and would bring value to a growing TTP. Value=stronger argument for more work for Deus & Co. site mods.

Just my opinion.

I think it's a great idea. There seem to be flares of music in the of server forum sometimes.
