And again, it was voted down already, unless the other site mods decide that they aren't going to be pissy because they have an optional box, we won't be getting one anytime soon, and probably not another vote.

I would love to see them though, we just need more support for it.

In all seriousness, the people still voted it down, most refused to realize, at least it seemed to me, that the thing would be OPTIONAL and that OPTIONAL meant that you are NOT REQUIRED to put your info in that box.
