Facebook Integration
TPG has activated some of the facebook functions in vbulletin. They've been there the whole time, we just didn't bother with them.
But.....they're useful forms of promotion, just like digg's, and pingbacks, and linkbacks, and twitters, and....whatever.
You can see the "like" buttons around posts and articles and blogs, etc. Feel free to use, or not use the function. If it becomes a problem, or causes more drama than it helps, we'll remove it.

Re: Facebook Integration
no. we have found that, when you like private forum threads, facebook simply titles it "teamplayergaming forum at teamplayergaming.com" or whatever, but when you like public threads, it titles it by the thread.
further, clicking on the link without permissions to that forum does nothing, just as if you were to give someone a URL to a admin thread and they didn't have permission to get to it. No security issues.
TeamPlayer Gaming | Facebook
that's our app page. Go "like" it.

We enabled it now. If you look at the top banner of any page you will see a FaceBook symbol and the word "Connect", click that and you can link your accounts. If you don't see it at first give it a few seconds, sometimes it takes a little bit for it to load (it is apparently loading behind the rest of the web page.)

Re: Facebook Integration
that's been up there the whole time. and again, you can't "register" for TPG by being a facebook member. That sync at the top activates some features, like populating your bio, interests, and other pieces of info from FB into your TPG profile here.
I think you have to active that to be a true "app user" aka FB platform user of TPG. And I think if you do that, you can then publish your posts, comments, replies, etc, to FB, rather than simply "like" them.
