Private Messages
I'd like to see a way to request read receipts for these via general settings for all messages as opposed to the once per PM flag that it is now.
Also - for users who have set "receive email notification on PM" it would be really helpful for the sender of the PM to know if there was a delivery failure for one of the recipients. Would make it easier to tell if someone was simply ignoring or walking away from gaming.
Does TPGs system get a mail delivery failure/bounceback on bad addresses?

Re: Private Messages
This makes about as much sense as the pm you sent.... whats 'these'?
doesnt once per pm = all messages?
or are you talking about posts? Please include context...
no way, we already send out hundreds of emails a day and easily hit our quota on even the quietest of days. "Delivery failer for one of the recipients" delivery failure for what? An email if they have notifications for pm's via email enabled? And if they do not?
We do, but we drop them upon recipt, otherwise we'd have hundreds of thousands of them build up in the mail server.

Yeah, it's also the reason we could never get the Monthly newsletter off the ground. Bigdog tried a lot of solutions but kept running into the same issue.
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.

LOL - ok sorry lots of details going on at the moment. What I mean is, is there a way to set a setting that says EVERY PM I send will request a read receipt? Something global in general settings. I don't see it there. If I am missing it I apologize. I know that I can request it each time I send a PM, but I'd like to be able to just set a flag for all PMs I send.
Fair enough. I thought that might be the case, but "Ask not, want not"
