Official Statement:

"This morning, in response to actions taken by the Flying Ham Toast of Milton Legs and the Armed Republic of WW_BITEME!!, the Empire of the Colonies of Man has seen it fit to annex the country of Turkmenistan into the Empire. As the Empire can no longer grow, this will be considered the only region that my government will annex.

Three corps of Imperial soldiers marched into the country's capital this morning and replaced the present government with an Imperial governor. An additional two corps were deployed along the border of the Dominion of Evil Cenobites as a measure to prevent a mass movement of any potential refugees into the Dominion. The local population have been afforded all rights given to the citizens of the Empire of the Colonies of Man. They will be treated as equals to our native citizens. Any lesser treatment is a violation of humanitarian agreements and treaties that have been signed by the Empire. And quite frankly, we don't like to mistreat our citizens.

My master wishes to assure the council that this will be the only annexation my nation undertakes for now. We feel it to be reasonable that all nations are afforded the opportunity to annex one nation into their realm without incurring much negative opinion of other nations.

The Lord Marshal wishes to assure the representative of the Dominion of Evil Cenobites that this action is not in any way aggressive towards their nation. We do not wish to undertake any offensive posture towards our neighbor. After we have been assured of continued peace in Turkmenistan, as a gesture of good will Imperial military forces will withdraw from the border area into military bases deeper inside the country.

We hope that your takeover of the Turkmenistan remains peaceful and that we may one day enter into a trade alliance with your great nation."
