Link MMO items
I know bunni threw this in once in the past for WoW items, but im not sure if it was this forum or the old one. Basically what I want is a way to link our items for SW:TOR in the forums with the tooltip popup. ZAM network has provided the information to make this work however their wiki page has not been updated to include sw:tor. However I know it is possible because while looking for this information i stumbled on another site that has it working.
Here is the wiki page where they describe what is needed
tooltips :: Wiki :: ZAM
and this is their site for sw:tor
Torhead: SWTOR Database
I was wondering if it is possible to throw this in. If it does not bog down the system I do not see a downside to adding this.

Re: Link MMO items
oh now i see,
oh hell no, looking at the source that script make the client load loads w/e page is linked, by mere hover over, meaning i could make you load w/e page i want, merely by using their suggested bbcode tags and all you would have to do, is accidentally hover over the link.
I could RickRoll You (dancing video that runs across your screen), i could make you load dangerous sites, i could make giant crazy porn run across your screen, i could _____.
Sorry, but cant do it. If we were a small clan site, where we knew all the users, and perhaps limited who could post (ie only clannies), than that'd be one thing. But vb we have no way to limit who can use which bb tags (and frankly that's a good thing, that'd only be more the server has to load in addition to a ginormous amount of permission poo it already has to load), so anyone who can post would be able to use it, and it'd pose a giant open window to instant vicious, malicious use.
Even if we limited the tag to only allow certain sites, we'd have to have a tag for each mmo and or mmo site people wanted to link to. Even then, a crafty user could still trick vb into parsing the tag screwy and thus making the tag link to w/e page they want, making it no less of a security concern.
Sorry, but waaaay to much of a security risk. :<
Edit: ya... i just rick rolled myself on my test install...
