Thread: ARMA2 DayZ Teamspeak tweak.

I was wondering If Imisnew Could set up Teamspeak Whispers inside the DAYZ Channel. That way we could still Com with the Group but be split into Squads. Like what BF3 has.

Currently When I hit Whispers in the Dayz Channels It whispers all the way to the MMO's and Diablo.
If you could set it up and limit it to this:

Team 1 Whispers limited to these Sub-channels
Squad1
Squad2

Team 2 Whispers limited to these Sub-channels

Can you provide a bit more info? Ive never used whisper in TS and by the looks of it, I think it might be a user setting. I dont see anything in admin for it.

I think I know what he's talking about Enf. Lemme take a look when I get back from errands.

Enf, it looks like the whisper settings are server side although I haven't tried looking through the settings manually (don't feel like installing a TS3 server on my rig).

There is a server side setting to allow whispers for certain sub-channels, yet exclude them from the rest of the server.

In the BF3 channels there is PTT in your squad. But if the client enables whispers with some settings tweaked and the server option/setting, you can PTT another "whisper" key which will allow you to talk to your team. I am looking for the same functionality.

Currently when I hit the Whispers PTT key I have bound for BF3, it whispers to ALL of the channels, except BF3.
