Thread: GW2 Beta Weekend 2

Stayed on Crystal Desert.

Currently testing Mesmer again, though my current thoughts about the class seem to be all over the place. They made the clones they pop out and illusions that do status effects do next to no damage (less than 20 at lvl 80.) I think they did so to make you use shatter, but the shatter mechanics are still bad and blow up out of the range of the target most of the time. So they went from having a class mechanic that wasn't used, to having a class mechanic that is all but useless. You pretty much have to play a phantasm build or ignore your own clones to be able to guarantee any damage output at all. Not looking good, but maybe i'm missing something.

Crystal Desert was full when I tried to get on that one, so I chose Magumma.

Option i tried adding you when i was on earlier and wouldnt let me so think you were offline then. I'm at work right now Ill be on tonight about 1030 pacific if u happen to be up. It be my last time on with working this weekend and visiting with my mom tomarrow morning before work.

But we all definitly need to get on the same server when the game releases.

If thats the case then you need to use that speacil name holder thing that assighned to us to do it since it wouldnt let me add option earlier

Ive only tried Ranger and gaurdian. Even though I love being able to attack from a distance with ranger I love the fighting mechanics of the guardian.

I also love what they done with the skills in GW2 over GW. I love picking up a new weapon and learning a whole new set of abilities.
