Pick whichever race/gender you prefer. There's no real benefit one way or another.

So, interesting thing happened today.

Logged on and started doing missions. About halfway through the Military mission line, I get a developer talking to me through private conversation. He walked me through a lot of things I was having trouble with, and I thought it was pretty cool of him to help me out.

Well if the EVE-O tinfoil conspiracies are true then it's because you're in the wrong alliance/coalition. But that means that Civil, JB, Tractor, White and I have a better chance.
