WoW died for me with Cataclysm. I'd played it on and off since vanilla beta...killed all content when it was current up to that point..but Cata was a steaming pile of shit...I did the first 2 tiers trying to give a chance and just got more irritated with it.

I like what I've seen so far from EQN and Wildstar. Right now Wild star looks more interesting to me, but EQN has some promise...I'll def be keeping my eye on it.

I liked being able to fly anywhere, and I liked the underwater zone. Other than that...

My go-to game was always FFXI. Abyssea made it too easy, and Seekers of Adoulin kinda killed it for me. It's just not the same game anymore.

I'll be buying the settler pack sometime in the next month or two.

EQ was my first MMO and still the best, imo.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up to much.

What servers did folks play on back in the day? I played on Rallos Zek.

I could never, for some reason, get into EQ. My ffirst MMO was Asheron's Call and it still has a fond place in my memories. It was very large and the casting and crafting systems were nice and complex. Never tried the 2nd, but it was apparently not good as it died soon after. I think Turbine is one of the better MMO devs studios out there.
